Suisun City, Solano County
Suisun City, incorporated in 1868, was a busy inland port in the years when grain and fruit left the valley by boat. Its channel leads out to Suisun Marsh, the largest brackish marsh on the West Coast and a winter haven for waterfowl. The old harbor was rebuilt in the 1990s with a promenade and marina, a short walk from the train depot.
